I got a new scale, turns out I am 18 pounds heavier, so the number is bigger, but I had a lose.
I worked hard to overcome the week before, but I still had a weekend. I really tried to stay 100% OP, but I had some week moments. Still, much better then the week before, and this week will be SPOT ON, I promise (myself).
I went out Saturday night with a bunch of friends. I had such a great time, and wasn't even tempted to drink. I stuck to diet coke, and our waitress was ADORABLE and kept bringing them to me without asking. I met a really good looking guy, but he lives in Portland (boo hoo). I plan to see him when he comes back to town next month:)

Well, last week was evil when you look at what I did vs what I accomplished. I can't stand to feel the way I let myself feel last week. I can't stand how helpless I became, how I was a slave to my insecurities and my desire to just give in, and give up.
This week I will accomplish very much, I will lose that four extra pounds, and kick a few of it's friends to the curb. I can do this, and I will.

I really don't want to talk about it. I will though, that's why I write this.
This was a rough week. Too much stress, and to top it off the baby came home with Strep. I was sure we were going to get it too, but we got lucky. It all started with a little popsicle on my (probably imagined) sore throat. Then it turned into several days of gluttony. It was ugly. It is over, I am moving on, and refocusing my goals. I must lose this weight.

I know why I didn't lose as much this week. Two reasons, first is the initial loss is mostly water weight. Second, I had to eat out, A LOT last week because we weren't home. I made the best possible choices, but there were things out of my control.
We were extremely active last week, as mini me had here figure skate comp. She took a first, a second, and a sixth (she fell). All in all it was a great weekend, and we had a lot of fun. It was challenging diet wise. Very challenging.
this is feeling like just another week. I try to get through each day by postponing my cravings. Then I throw some guilt on top of it. My internal dialog goes something like this: me 1) I want *****.
Me 2) Not right now, you are doing so good.
me 1) But I really want it!
me 2) maybe later. Right now do something else.
me 1) But it's really good and I really want it.
me 2) remember that time you just gave in and had it, and it wasn't actually very good at all, and then you hated yourself for giving in, so you had a bunch more?
me 1) yes.
me 2) well, we aren't doing that anymore. You are working really hard, and you are proud of that, so this time, you will just wait. It's not really worth going backwards is it?
me 1) No, I guess not..
me 2) see.

I hate that I can't get more done. I hate that I am going to get Strep throat. I kinda hate my attitude, and my headache right now. I am going to work hard to concentrate on positive stuff right now.

Ha ha ha ha Okay, dirty trick. 7.5 pounds gone, and no inches. I must be bloated or something this morning:)
I didn't "diet" last week. I did try to eat right and exercise, I guess that was good. I ate too much over the weekend, but I did really good otherwise.
I won't lie, dieting is HARD. Especially when I take alcohol out of the equation. I made it through the week. I didn't eat anything off the plan, and I din't drink anything but coffee, water, and ice tea. I did good. I feel good. I am tired though, very sleepy right now. I am not blaming the Diet though, I am blaming the book "Game of Thrones". I am almost finished, and I couldn't put it down last night. So good! I highly recommend.

What?!? 7 inches? That's CRAZY. I'll take it, but, weird.
I didn't "diet" last week. I did try to eat right and exercise, I guess that was good. I ate too much over the weekend, but I did really good otherwise.
I started Medifast this morning, so this is my official day one:) I am excited to getting everything back in it's proper place in so many ways.
I started spring cleaning my house yesterday. I know it's a late start, but I am doing it now, and the past is the past. I started with my bedroom. I finally got most of the stuff I had been putting off for almost a year in there done. It feels so good. I got the closet cleaned, and the furniture re-arranged. I moved my desk to by my bed, and my vanity to an area it will stay clean in. I created a reading corner, and finally got the big bookshelf out of my closet. I moved most of my books to the bookshelves downstairs, so now I am going to have to fill this one up slowly:) I have the clothes in my closet to sort, and the laundry to put away then I am DONE. That shouldn't take to long, so tonight I should be able to get the living room deep cleaned. Hopefully the kid will clean her room, but I am not holding my breath.

EXERCISE 30 MINS A DAY (only two days)
Eat right and log my food (all but two days)
Work round the clock all week to get things back in line (yes, things are just about upright again)

work on the figure skate website, and actually make progress
I am changing my goals this week. The housecleaning will be enough workout for this low calorie diet until my body adjusts to it. I am still just plugging away trying to get to a more organized and productive me:)

Holy YUCK!! I guess drinking beer and eating too much food is very, very bad. It is also something I keep struggling with HUGE!!
Next Monday I am going to go back to Medifast. Hopefully I will be committed enough to stick with it. I shouldn't have dropped it in the first place just because I was having a lull, but I am severely not patient enough. I'm working on it.
I started the morning in pain (sciatic) and feeling disconnected, but I have shaken off that silliness. I am going to finish the day productive, and the ice pack helped the back enough that I can walk and sitting isn't to bad right now. (YAY!!!)
By Monday I will make sure I only have the right foods in the house to help curb temptation. I already have plans that involve friends and drinking this weekend, so I will just do my best to keep it lo-cal. I'd really rather not gain any more before I officially start. So, yes, I will be drinking "Skinny Margarita's" this weekend.
